DO YOU KNOW THE CONDITIONS OF QUALIFICATION FOR MONEY WAGE SUPPORT FOR WORKERS UNPAID LEAVE?

Money wage support; In order to reduce the effects of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic on economic and social life, it is the payment made by the Unemployment Insurance Fund and İŞKUR to the persons within the scope of the provisional article 24 of the Law code 4447 for the period when they are on unpaid leave or are unemployed. In order to benefit from the money wage support;

  • Taking the worker with an employment contract as of 17/4/2020 on unpaid leave pursuant to the provisional article 10 of the Law No. 4857 by the employer,
  • Benefit from short time working allowance/pay,
  • Not receiving old age pension from any social security institution,
  • Working under unemployment insurance,

Must meet the contidions together.

Money wage support, if the relevant persons meet the other conditions listed in the law; It covers the period of unpaid leave between 17/4/2020 and 17/03/2021 for those who take unpaid leave within the scope of the provisional article 10 of the Law code 4857. The amount of daily money wage support  for 2021 was increased to 47.70 TL per day by increasing the minimum wage increase rate (21.56%) with the President’s Decree No. 31363 which is dated 13th of January 2021.
